The first week of SRV Baseball games saw the Payette Pirates tie with the Melba Mustangs at 7-7. However, the Pirates then suffered two consecutive losses, first to the Buhl team with a score of 6-4, followed by another defeat against the same team with a score of 13-1. Despite the tough start, the Pirates still have plenty of opportunities to turn their season around with upcoming games.
