The Homedale Trojans (now 18-6) overcame a late deficit to defeat Cole Valley Chargers (21-4) in Mondayβs critical playoff matchup. With this win, Homedale advances to face Fruitland in the winnerβs bracket while Cole Valley drops to the loser bracket against Payette.

Homedale struck first in the opening frame with Carson Fineβs RBI single giving them an early advantage. The game remained tight throughout with Cole Valley battling back to tie it in the fourth inning on Blake Wilsonβs double, Tyler Romineβs groundout, and Lucas Gurayβs RBI single.
The Chargers took a 5-4 lead in the fifth when Wilson hit a sacrifice fly, but Homedale wasnβt done yet. The Trojans mounted a decisive four-run rally in the sixth inning featuring:
