CALDWELL, ID - The College of Idaho Yotes have officially released their 2026 football schedule, and Yotes fans have plenty to look forward to this fall. The 10-game slate features five home matchups at Simplot Stadium in Caldwell and five road contests, including a season-opening trip to Eastern Oregon and a late-October visit to Arizona Christian University.
Season Opener on the Road
The Yotes kick off the 2026 campaign on Saturday, August 29 with a road trip to La Grande, Oregon, to take on the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM MT. Eastern Oregon will also make a return trip to Caldwell later in the season for a Frontier Conference rematch on October 24.
Home Opener at Simplot Stadium
College of Idaho welcomes Rocky Mountain College (Mont.) to Simplot Stadium on September 5 for the home opener. Kickoff time is still to be determined. Fans will then get their first look at conference play when Simpson University visits Caldwell on October 3.
Non-Conference Slate
Before Frontier Conference play heats up, the Yotes will also host Montana Tech on September 26 at noon and travel to Havre, Montana on September 19 to face Montana State University-Northern at 1:00 PM MT.

Oct. 17 – at Montana Western (Dillon, MT) – Away
Oct. 24 – vs. Eastern Oregon University (Caldwell) – Home
Oct. 31 – at Arizona Christian University (Glendale, AZ) – Away
Nov. 7 – vs. Carroll College, Mont. (Caldwell) – Home – 12:00 PM MT
Nov. 14 – at Southern Oregon University (Ashland, OR) – Away
The regular season wraps up on November 14 with a road trip to Ashland, Oregon, to face Southern Oregon University.

What to Watch
With five home games at Simplot Stadium, Caldwell figures to be a lively place on fall Saturdays. The back-to-back home conference games in late October and early November — welcoming Eastern Oregon and Carroll College — could prove pivotal in the Frontier Conference standings. The Arizona road trip on Halloween weekend should also provide an exciting atmosphere for the Yotes.
