The Chargers came into Payette with a mission and left with a statement win.

Cole Valley’s Vienna Westhuis was UNSTOPPABLE, pouring in 19 points to lead all scorers and cement herself as one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the conference.

Abbie English stepped up in a big way with 10 points of her own, giving Cole Valley that crucial secondary scoring threat.

The Chargers led 32-20 at halftime and never looked back, improving to 5-4 in conference play and positioning themselves nicely as the season heads toward crunch time.

On the other side, the Payette Pirates showed heart on their senior night despite the loss. Sianna Gable was a force with 13 points, battling all night long. Jill Gaida matched that energy with 12 points, with help from Haylo Collingwood and Victoria Walker with 7 points each.

The Pirates fall to 0-9 in conference play, but the fight in this group is undeniable. Senior night didn’t end the way they wanted, but these players left everything on the court for their home crowd.
